I lead a cross functional team to design and launch Myer’s first native app. Designed from the ground up, was to make engaging with the loyalty program easier and more rewarding for customers. For the business, we aimed to dramatically reduce operational overheads by making it easier for customers to self-serve and reducing the reliance on plastic loyalty and reward cards.

In the months that followed launch, the app received a 4.5 star rating in both the App and Play stores and had been downloaded by 300,000+ customers. This was the very first agile project and led to the widespread adoption of agile development methodologies across the business.
After the successful launch and reception of the Myer one app, I was asked to work on the redesign of myer.com.au–at that time an ecommerce platform generating over $100 million per annum.
